Just like the rest of you, I'm sure, when I heard the news about Darrent Williams yesterday, I was stunned. His skill as a player was obvious - I picked him up as an IDP several weeks into the season and he put up big numbers. In an odd way, when you put so much time and effort into watching football and your fantasy leagues, you start to feel like you personally know the players. I call them "my boys" and read probably a ridiculous amount of news about each of my players. And when I have a Bronco on my team, this feeling of somehow knowing the players is even stronger - does that make sense? So as silly as it may sound to some of you, I feel like I've lost an acquaintance, a buddy, one of my boys .
