After living in our new house for 5 months and only managing to paint 1 of the 6 rooms that needs a new coat of paint, we finally decided it was time to bring in a professional. For the past few days a dude has been here painting (and cutting us an awesome deal) - since I have been at home with our son (who is now finally feeling back to normal again) and also work from home, I've been immersed in paint fumes...let's hope those fumes aren't forcing me to make crazy lineup decisions for the Wild Card weekend games in the FFLibrarian Playoff Challenge . Well we had a total of 3 trick-or-treating groups knock on our door last night and a big ol' bowl of candy remaining. I just bought a 100 foot hose. Never imagined I would possibly need that much hose in my life, but our backyard wranglers finished clearing the kudzu in our yard yesterday and put down some grass seed and straw. Just about the only thing I know about grass seed is that we need to water it, and the hose we already own is far too short to stretch down our steep hill. Seriously, we're a two-hose family now. Several of you are part of the 72-team FFLibrarian monster league , which is run by MyFantasyLeague.com and is made up of 6 different conferences full of hard core fantasy footballers. This is the second season of the league and this year I have a grand prize for the winner: a $100 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings (full disclosure, courtesy of my participation in the BWW league ). I'll see if I can pull together some prizes for teams with the most points at midseason, or the team with the largest one-week point total, too. And speaking of which, I've been a bit lax this year in posting results of the league's teams with the most points.
