Happy birthday to the best guy I've ever met: my awesome husband. Without getting all sappy on you guys (it's really sad but those iPhone 4 commercials are making me tear up these days; blame it on the pregnancy thing!), it's truly an honor being married to such a great dude and every day I'm reminded of how lucky I am to have found this guy. And of course since he's the one that introduced me to this crazy world of fantasy football, let's all raise a glass to the birthday dude! My feet feel like they might fall off; I've now pounded the pavement out there for the past 3 days or so, drinking in all that NYC has to offer (not literally, though I am excited to seek out some tasty New York brews - any suggestions?) and searching for the best apartment out there. I had a great time in Arlington, VA, with family and friends this weekend as expected...though I've had a ridiculous number of people send me this Arlington rap (same guy did a fantasy football rap , too, among many, many other things). Not exactly the Arlington that I grew up in, but certainly what it has become... Anyway, back to the issue at hand - fantasy football. Gotta be quick today, my fantasy football fans. I'm flying to good ol ' Grand Rapids, Michigan later this week for my grandma's 90 th birthday so I've got a busier week at work than usual. So read up on today's brief list of links... NFL.com takes a look at the top rookies and what kind of fantasy impact they might have in Moreno, Wells headline top fantasy rookies after NFL Draft - I'm seriously starting to think that the impossible might happen = the Broncos might have one lead runner; the RBBC might be dying off in Denver. Could it be?? Am I getting swept up in a Knowshon lovefest ? Possible. The Jets and Gregg Rosenthal agree - there's a big drop-off in rookie running backs after Shonn Greene . In my recent column with the Bruno Boys , I commented on the lack of articles that address some of the more difficult RBBC (running back by committee) situations. There are a few gems out there, though, and apparently more are cropping up every day. Take a look at a few: The Huddle's The 2008 Ultimate RBBC Review - I realize this article is only partially free for non-Huddle members. But I'm a non-Huddle member who can only read the first 4 or so reviews, and I still think it's worth your time. Now if you are a Huddle member, you're probably in for a treat.
