Streaming Defenses - Week 6

Bringing you the latest and greatest from Bob as he analyzes your best options for defense this week. 

Another week, another set of streams. Last week it happened, the streams did better overall than the highly owned. It happens every year, it just took longer this year. BUF and PHI came through and now will be highly owned. CAR and DEN, weekly juggernauts faltered, and that pulled the average down.

This week is a mixed bag. We have some highly owned that I would be reluctant to start, but not a bunch of good streams either. A conditional desperation move and a warning round out the streams this week.

DEN	@SD	100%	14	DEN returns to domination this week. They face SD that has given up 11 pts/game to the last three opponents, all bottom 10 defenses. Big start, even on the road
ARI	NYJ	98%	12	Jets are in freefall and don't do well against tough defenses. ARI is a tough DEF, start with confidence.
CAR	@NO	98%	12	The Saints aren't a top target but haven't met a tough defense yet. CAR will be out for blood now that they're in the bottom of their division. Look for some payback this week and start CAR with confidence.
NEP	CIN	97%	10	Pats are averaging 10 pts/game and CIN will struggle on the road. Good start for NEP.
SEA	ATL	92%	7	SEA has dropped out of the top 10 on def, and ATL has figured out how to protect Ryan.  I don't like this start, ATL only gave up 7 pts to DEN. Real sketchy start, but you have to start them anyway with lower expectations.
LAR	@DET	88%	3	LAR didn't have a good week last week and they will be challenged this week as well. Stafford is slinging it, and LAR will have trouble finding points on Def. Look elsewhere.
HOU	IND	85%	12	Colts are a good target and HOU is a top 10 defense, start with confidence this week.
PHI	@WAS	82%	8	Tough matchup this week for PHI, WAS is real stingy giving up points. Start but temper your expectations.
PIT	@MIA	82%	12	Can you believe PIT is so highly owned? Not that good a DEF yet, but MIA is a tasty target, start with confidence.
BUF	SF	79%	12	SF remains a good target and BUF is a good defense, start with confidence
Streams for Week 6
TEN	CLE	6%	12	Titans put up big numbers against MIA, a good target, and they have another good target this week. This is my #1 stream.
DET	LAR	5%	10	DET is not a great defense but they are getting better. Averaging about 9 pts/game in the last four outings. LAR is giving up over 13 pts/game so far. This is my 2nd stream.
WAS	PHI	23%	9	WAS Def is getting better, and PHI showed some vulnerability last week. Make them your 3rd stream.
OAK	KC	44%	8	This one scares me a bit but OAK showed me something last week, and KC can give up points to good defenses. So this is my 4th stream this week.
GB	DAL	48%	8	I'll pick this one as my 5th stream this week because there aren't that many options. The Packers could surprise and have been climbing the Def ladder, although the 'Boys have been stingy.
SD	DEN	2%	10/6	If you're desperate, claim the Chargers, but temper expectations, especially if Siemian is back. Start if Lynch starts.
KC	@OAK	58%	4	Some are picking this as a good stream this week, but I don't buy it. OAK only averaging giving up 3.6 pts/week. Beware this stream.
