Wrapping up June

It's a gorgeous day here in NYC for the last day of the month, and I've got a full agenda of hitting up the playground, taking long walks, and generally staying within a few feet of our newly mobile and extremely adventurous baby. Good times but it will be an even better day to start things off with some fantasy football linkage...
  • Ah, offensive line rankings. I love them. And love the time of year when they start to appear. This year is of course a bit unusual since free agency will undoubtedly make some major alterations to these rankings, but for now scope out FFToolbox.com's Offensive Line Rankings - they take  a look back at 2010 for each team plus note the key changes over the offseason...so far.
  • ProFootballFocus.com's Fantasy: The Unheralded focuses in on rookies that might not be the flashiest rookies names, but could end up making a difference for your squad. Keep these names in the back of your mind as the season approaches.
  • 2 Mugs Fantasy Football posted their We Don't Need No Stinkin' Free Agency: Early PPR RB Ranks, divided up in three tiers: heavyweights, middleweights, and the more questionable welterweights.
  • Get some draft strategy advice from FantasySharks.com in Don't be a square - Draft a stud tight end early. Ideally I'd like to see more than just 2010 data incorporated here but it's worth the read for sure.
  • The KFFL.com staff gathers round a virtual table and debates the pros and cons of players that are vying for that number one overall fantasy draft pick - Fantasy football roundtable: No. 1 running back.

About to be wrapping up?
Super Thursday has 419 associates up for pick up. The victorious one needs 1144. Mitt romney has 203. Even if he benefits them all, which he won't, he is hardly 50 percent way there.

Labor Day FF links

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. So like many of you I'm now turning my attention to the Week 1 games! But before we get to some player rankings and prep for Week 1, I want to make sure that all you experts out there are aware of the upcoming deadline for the annual accuracy contest that I run with the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. I compare preseason positional rankings from experts to the final outcome of the fantasy season to see which site had the most accurate preseason rankings, and this year's deadline is fast approaching: September 9th by kickoff. Check out the info on the FSTA site for more details and be sure to e-mail me your submissions. Now, onto Week 1! First up, let's get to some of this

Streaming Defenses - Week 16

Don't know about you all, but in our house this week is just chock full of events, visiting with family, and getting organized for our upcoming time off over the holidays. Lots of scrambling going on around here and attempts to install some sense of gratitude in my boys. What am I grateful for this season? Many things but let's start with Bob. Bob has been my fantasy football rock, coming back week after week to post. Hats off to you, Bob, and thank you for your diligent work and research. So here he is with this year's final streaming defense post.  Well it’s the last week of the Fantasy Football Playoffs in most leagues, and my last post of the season. I hope you all found these posts useful. And if I failed you, you have to murder a lot more experts before you get to me. I myself have had a terrible playoff season. I’m out of all but one of my leagues due to the weird games the last two weeks. Between weather that didn’t materialize to normally consistent players co
