Consensus Start/Sit for Week 15

Greetings from a so far unsnowy NYC. However I just talked to my mom who is pretty much blanketed in a winter wonderland down in my hometown of Arlington, VA. In a few hours I'll be headed to the Duke vs Gonzaga game here in New York and I'm expecting to be tromping through snow on the way home...snow is just so much more fun when you don't have a car or any driving to worry about. Yea subway.

Meanwhile, there's football on tonight, baby! Love the Saturday night game action and I've got a few links to get you prepared - plus this week's consensus start/sit.
  • First up, the weekly Five Game Parlay that I do with Fighting Chance Fantasy - sadly I'm still trailing in that competition but I've had a few good weeks lately and think I can at least make a little more progress before the season ends.
  • This week's roundtable is up on Fantasy Phenoms with some of the sharpest minds letting us know which players are sleepers and busts this week.
  • A little start/sit advice from Fantasy Depth Chart that's specific to tonight's matchup between the Saints and Cowboys.
  • Scope out Pyromaniac.com's Week 15 Positional Rankings with the top 12 QBs, 24 RBs, 30 WRs, and 12 TEs for this weekend's games.
Now onto the consensus start/sit for the week - I go through all of the expert start/sit links that I provide during the week and tally up which players have the most votes. They're listed below in no particular order - and always keep in mind that these suggestions don't work for all rosters; I say always play your best talent.

Need some flex advice in a non-ppr league: Arian Foster, Justin Forsett, or Steve Smith NYG. Forsett is in line for a decent number of touches, Smith is the steadiest of the three, but Foster plays the Rams. Any sage words?
Parker,
It's between Forsett and Smith for me. I think RBs are far more consistent so I'm inclined to go with Forsett (especially since I think he's awesome and hopefully Seattle will realize that soon, too). And the fact that NYG is facing Washington makes me think that Forsett is really the best start here. Good luck!

I have Roddy White starting, do i bench him for chris jennings or greg olson?

THANKS!!

Randall
Randall - the Revis situation makes me way too shy to start White. I'd go with Jennings, your best shot at some points this week. Good luck!

Labor Day FF links

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. So like many of you I'm now turning my attention to the Week 1 games! But before we get to some player rankings and prep for Week 1, I want to make sure that all you experts out there are aware of the upcoming deadline for the annual accuracy contest that I run with the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. I compare preseason positional rankings from experts to the final outcome of the fantasy season to see which site had the most accurate preseason rankings, and this year's deadline is fast approaching: September 9th by kickoff. Check out the info on the FSTA site for more details and be sure to e-mail me your submissions. Now, onto Week 1! First up, let's get to some of this

2010 Week 2 consensus start/sit

Greetings and happy weekend. Start/Sit Week 4 and a smattering of rankings

It's been awhile, my fantasy football friends. I have lofty intentions of getting several posts up here each week, but life is busy and I will do my best. So in the intervening 6 years since I've posted regularly on here, our family added another child (now there are 3!), moved back to Boulder for a sabbatical year and then returned to Knoxville, and we have basically been chugging along like many of the rest of you. My two boys (who turn 12 and 9 soon) are in a fantasy football league for the first time this year with their buddies, which ostensibly is the just the dads (and mom!) playing one another of course. But my oldest is taking it super seriously and what kind of Fantasy Football Librarian would I be if I didn't step up my game for him? So I'm back - and am interested in the fantasy landscape - lots of the same awesome sites out there, but many new ones as well. I'll try to incorporate a mix. Please be sure to let me know if my 2006 ways aren't working i
