Window shopping for Week 15

I'm not a huge shopper so this declaration probably won't surprise anyone who knows me well: I've only stepped into a store once for Christmas shopping this year. Everything else has been online, baby. Again perhaps not a shocker seeing as I spend all day trolling around the internet for the latest and greatest in fantasy land, so why not do the same for Christmas gifts? But I feel like I'm missing out a bit on the classic New York City Christmas experience. So tomorrow I might brave the crowds and cold to window shop a bit for the heck of it.

Another time you might want to window shop? Cruise on over to your waiver wire and see who is available. Take a good long look, poke around - and if there's anyone that your opponents might pick up this week, why not use your own waiver wire picks to block your opponents from adding any further fantasy talent? That is of course only if you have the room to spare on your squad. So for some more thoughts on this philosophy turn to the Fantasy Football Fools' On the Wire: Playoff Week 15 Pickups to Block From Your Opponents (btw, Fools, I cracked up over the hot or not kittens link). Or turn to today's links for more inspiration:

Thanks John, much appreciated.

Potlicker - meant to post a response to this last night, sorry! I'd go with Favre without a doubt. Washington is just not kind to opposing QBs and Eli isn't good enough to make up for that...meanwhile Favre's matchup against Carolina really doesn't scare me too much. I'm confident he's the better start here.

Forsett, Ganther, or A. Foster for my RB2? C. Jennings is also on waivers. Any help is appreciated!!

Chew, I'm starting Foster this week with Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones.

I'd go with Favre over E. Manning.

I'd also prefer Ganther over Foster. He's safer.

@ chewhitey

I am in the same predicament. I am starting Frank Gore as my RB1, was cruising w/ Ronnie Brown until he got injured. So now I am srounging for a RB2. I have J. Stewart but that's a no thanks. So I am lef with Ganther or Forsett? Both Moat's, Foster and Jennings are sitting in free agents. I am leaning towards Ganther because he will get the most carries, but Forsett plays a terrible Bucs run D. What's would you guys do? First week of the playoffs for me, so I gotta get this right! Librarian, help me out!
