Tiers and o-line?! Oh my!

Dropping my son off at a new daycare this morning went like this: "Have a great day, love you, see you in a few hours" with a wave goodbye, then watching the little guy wail like he was losing his fantasy football championship game as I walked away...then finally stopping the already excruciatingly long wave goodbye and turning away, walking out the door. Sometimes it just ain't easy to do the everyday things, eh? Good thing there are fantasy football links to keep our spirits up!
  • I love tiers. Next to offensive line rankings, they're my favorite fantasy football article that I provide. Gotta love a day with both tiers and o-line material. Let's start things off with Razzball.com's 2011 PPR Drafting Tiers.
  • And then jump right over to the o-line action from CBSSports.com - Draft Prep 2011: Setting the lines.
  • If you've been on vacay or just haven't paid an iota of attention to the free agency action out there, swing by the Fifth Down's Fantasy Football: Free Agency Recap for the highlights by position, all done with a fantasy spin.
  • And now that it's training camp time, check out all the camp news with Fantasy Fanplay's Moore is More.
  • There's so little love for Peyton Hillis out there that I can't help but feel some joy at reading Roto Arcade's First Down: Hillis detractors are about to get flexed. You can call me out on it and the end of the season if I'm wrong, but put me firmly in the pro-Hillis camp.
  • Remember how I mentioned Razzball.com's The Next Great Fantasy Football Writer contest that I was a guest judge for a few weeks ago? The results from Round 2 are up and I know for a fact that some of my readers have made submissions, which is awesome.
  • FantasyFootballXtreme.com posted the results of a recent Expert League Draft - the full results (though not the full commentary from FFX's Smitty) can be found here as well.
  • Mario Manningham is on the break of a fantasy lovefest here, if it hasn't already happened. Figure out why he's a steal (for now...) with FanDuel's Expect a Big Year From Mario Manningham.

Labor Day FF links

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. So like many of you I'm now turning my attention to the Week 1 games! But before we get to some player rankings and prep for Week 1, I want to make sure that all you experts out there are aware of the upcoming deadline for the annual accuracy contest that I run with the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. I compare preseason positional rankings from experts to the final outcome of the fantasy season to see which site had the most accurate preseason rankings, and this year's deadline is fast approaching: September 9th by kickoff. Check out the info on the FSTA site for more details and be sure to e-mail me your submissions. Now, onto Week 1! First up, let's get to some of this

2010 Week 2 consensus start/sit

Streaming Defenses - Week 16

Don't know about you all, but in our house this week is just chock full of events, visiting with family, and getting organized for our upcoming time off over the holidays. Lots of scrambling going on around here and attempts to install some sense of gratitude in my boys. What am I grateful for this season? Many things but let's start with Bob. Bob has been my fantasy football rock, coming back week after week to post. Hats off to you, Bob, and thank you for your diligent work and research. So here he is with this year's final streaming defense post.  Well it’s the last week of the Fantasy Football Playoffs in most leagues, and my last post of the season. I hope you all found these posts useful. And if I failed you, you have to murder a lot more experts before you get to me. I myself have had a terrible playoff season. I’m out of all but one of my leagues due to the weird games the last two weeks. Between weather that didn’t materialize to normally consistent players co
