Championship games info and FFLibrarian hits Facebook

Are all of you Pats/Packers/Giants/Bolts fans out there getting psyched up for this weekend or what? I have to say that it’s a little sad to think about the football season dwindling down for the year. It’s tough. I won’t know what do with myself on Sundays – that could be a good thing, really, considering it is ski season in Colorado.

FF Librarian now has a presence on Facebook - I'm excited about this and am hoping that those of you with Facebook profiles might check it out and possibly become a "fan" of Fantasy Football Librarian if you're so inclined. The page is a little different than the personal profiles that I'm used to, so I may be giving you erroneous information, but this link should take you to the FF Librarian page where I believe once you log in, you can become a fan. No pressure of course, just something to consider.

Anyway, let’s get to some resources and thoughts for this weekend's games…

I must say, FSM is one of the few places where I’ve seen any sort of commentary on who to start or sit in several weeks…so thanks FSM!
  • Looking for ways that the Chargers and Giants might get an upset? Leave the work to Accuscore analyst Stephen Oh who ran some simulations of the matchups to see what exactly it will take - read AFC Conference Championships and NFC Conference Championships for the details.
  • How do the remaining teams' offensive lines look? Arguing that it was the o-lines that helped the Chargers and Giants win last week, SI's Walking the Line ranks the final four o-lines.

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. Labor Day FF links

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. So like many of you I'm now turning my attention to the Week 1 games! But before we get to some player rankings and prep for Week 1, I want to make sure that all you experts out there are aware of the upcoming deadline for the annual accuracy contest that I run with the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. I compare preseason positional rankings from experts to the final outcome of the fantasy season to see which site had the most accurate preseason rankings, and this year's deadline is fast approaching: September 9th by kickoff.
