Taking a break

I might take a few days off of the blog - my grandpa passed away. There's not enough room on this blog to describe how wonderful of a man he was and I will miss him dearly.

For fantasy football help this weekend, be sure to swing by some of the great regulars like Rotoworld, The Hazean, Bruno Boys, and FFToday. They'll be able to provide you with plenty of rankings, projections, and game reviews.

Sincere condolences, Sara. I remember you mentioning he was a Michigander (as I am) and all your readers wish you well in the days to come as you grieve with your family.

Thanks you guys - I'm once again reminded of what a great bunch of readers you are. My grandpa was 91 and lived a long, wonderful life - I do have great memories of him and know how much he loved us. He was a Tigers fan, a Northwestern and Michigan fan, and despite his Alzheimer's could still remember to tell people that I blogged for the NY Times about fantasy football (yes, he even said blog!).

Thank you all for your kind words.

Very sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to me a few years ago and it, of course, is very tough. My thoughts are with you and the family.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It is good to hear that he lived a long, happy life, but I am sure he will be missed. I lost a grandfather as well just a few years ago.

My condolences. When my father passed in April, I used fantasy football as a means to stay close to him, as we both shared a deep love of football and I miss watching it with him... may the plentiful loving memories tide you over in your grief.
