Well I've got a good thing going in the Buffalo Wild Wings All-Star Blogger League - I'm sitting at 8-1, 2 games ahead of the next best team. Sweet! I'm getting to the point where I'm doing so well in the league that I'll be sorely disappointed if I don't win the big grand prize Super Bowl trip to Miami. I know, I know, it's bad to set myself up for this but I can't help it! I want to win!
Anyway, I recommend you scope out the BWW league site - lots of experts (like RotoExperts, Fantasy Guru, The Sports Outlaw and others) are posting throughout the week with great advice or even just links back to the start/sit and waiver wire advice on their own sites. Good stuff. Speaking of good stuff, let's get to today's articles:
- There were some interesting little nuggets of info in the Bruno Boys' Carrots or Karats? article this week - Turner has had a rushing TD every week since week one?! Wow, hadn't noticed that since I don't own him anywhere, but it's a stat I like to hear.
- I started the Falcons D/ST against the Skins last week and that strategy worked out pretty well for me - so if you're in need of a new D/ST or a bye week fill-in, take a look at the FFGeekBlog's Week 10 Defenses to Consider. I'm salivating over my Broncos getting to face the Redskins this week, by the way...time to get a W!
- We've got a handful of waiver wire articles out there:
- FantasySharks.com's Waiver Wire Pickups
- Matthew Berry's Calling my shots for the second half - both waiver wire picks and 20 bold predictions for the second half of the season.
- The Hazean's Week 10 Waiver Wire Adds
- 12StepDrop's Pickups: Week 10
- Fantasy Phenoms' Searching the Scrap Heap - Week 10
- Need to make some roster changes? Take a look at Fantasy Depth Chart's Buy/Sell Trade Market for some ideas on trade bait and player value.
- Many of you checked out FantasyXPERT.com last week - take a look at their review of Week 9 rankings at QB in Football Source Accuracy Scorecard - Week 9. You all know I love this stuff - and I'm happy to see one of my favorite analysts, Matt Schauf from SportsBuff and Rapid Draft, at the top of Week 9's accuracy for QBs.
- And of course the start/sit advice is beginning to roll out:
- FantasySharks.com's Start/Bench List Week 10
- FFToolbox's Week 10: Deep League Start 'Em and Who to Start Rankings/Projections
- FFManiaxs' Week 10 Start/Sit
Finally, happy Veterans Day and a big thanks to those in the military for their service!

Yes, Happy Veteran's Day to all the vets out there.
I'm in the same boat. NFL.com will be my friend on Thursday.
If anyone needs some help setting their lineups, LestersLegends has some suggestions.
Fantasy Fill-ins
Sara I need some help...
I have
Steven Jackson
Tim Hightower
Laurence Maroney
Michael Crabtree
Devin Hester
Desean Jackson
Percy Harvin
I need 2 RB and 2 Wr and 1 flex (rb/wr).
What do you think?
-John
comcast.....If you have them. Last year I had the same thing with the Thursday game. I called and ordered the nfl channel. Then called and canceled the next day. Cost about 5 bucks for 1 day service....
the fantasy sharks have the absolute worst analysis that i can remember reading. Benching Mendenhall this week? huh? garbage. Also, just watch McNabb role this weekend against an over-rated Charger secondary.
Sara, just checked out your BWW team, nice! you need an avatar or something! 8-1 you gotta give your team a makeover:)keep the goods comin'!
oh almost forgot... jackson is a must start everyweek, saints are secretly bad at stopping the run. hightower is still getting solid touches and the seahawks, well they aren't the best anymore. not sure how you feel about crabtree or how i feel so i'm going with jackson (stud) and harvin (will be more open this ewek than ever!) flex play is a little sneaky, i say maroney... everyone knows about moss and welker... look for maroney to get hot early in the colts game. IMHO!
John,
I say the odd men out are:
Michael Crabtree
Devin Hester
Though it makes tonight's game less interesting for you.
You're dominating that league thanks to Mr. Aaron Rodgers, fantasy football's top QB!
I don't think anyone (aside of Fantasy Depth Chart) projected him as the top QB! http://www.fantasydc.com/?p=1425
John - I agree with the other comments here on starting all 3 RBs but I think I'd go with Hester and Harvin. Hester has had 80+ yards in his last 4 games and think he could have a decent outing tonight. Jackson meanwhile will be facing a secondary that could actually be fairly challenging. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended the night with just 50 yards or so. That said, if you can't really stand the thought of benching Jackson, then I'd play Hester and Jackson. Good luck!
Anon - sadly Comcast is not an option here and the only cable provider does not have an agreement with the NFL Network.
And yup, you guys are right, Rodgers is helping my BWW team out big time! Here's to continued success!
